- Contacts Access: With your explicit permission, we access your phone’s contact list to identify and connect you with friends or known users already using NishConnect. We do not store your full contact list on our servers without consent, and access is solely used for in-app features like contact syncing and suggestions.
- Messages, Chat Data & AI Queries: We collect and securely store your chat messages, multimedia content (e.g., photos, voice notes), and messages or queries sent to our integrated AI tools. AI messages or queries may be processed by third-party AI service providers (such as OpenAI) for generating responses. These interactions are encrypted and handled securely, and only the minimum required data is sent to third-party services for processing.
- Call Logs and Communication Metadata: We may collect call-related data such as timestamps, duration, caller/receiver identifiers, and call status (missed, answered, declined) to provide features like call history and analytics. Actual audio or video from calls is not recorded or stored.
- Device Information and Usage Data: We collect data such as device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash reports, and diagnostic logs. This helps us troubleshoot issues, enhance security, and improve the overall app experience for users.
- Payment Information: When you make purchases or subscribe to premium features, payment processing is handled securely by trusted third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay, Google Play Billing, or others). We do not store or have access to your full payment details such as credit/debit card numbers. Only transaction metadata (e.g., transaction ID, payment status, amount, and date) is stored for reference and support.

- To deliver key features like messaging, voice calls, AI assistance, and contacts sync.
- To improve app performance, stability, and user experience.
- To notify users about app updates, messages, and new features.
- To process payments and manage premium subscriptions (using third-party providers).

All sensitive data is encrypted using industry-standard methods. Chats and AI queries are encrypted. Communications use TLS/SSL. Data is securely stored and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

We retain your data as long as your account is active or needed for compliance, legal purposes, or app functionality. You may request data deletion by contacting us.
6. Moderation, Reporting, and User Controls
We are committed to keeping NishConnect a safe and positive environment. Users can report abusive or inappropriate content or behavior through in-app reporting tools or by contacting our support team. We review such reports and may take action, including warnings, suspension, or removal of content or users who violate our policies.

- Contacts: Optional, for syncing and finding friends.
- Microphone: Required for voice calling and voice messages.
- Internet: Required for messaging, sync, AI queries, and payments.
- Notifications: Required to alert users of messages, calls, and important app events.
- Storage: Optional, for sending and receiving media.
9. Changes to this Policy
